management of the Attorney General&#8217;s Office<\/p><p>(ii) the provision of legal advice to the Government<\/p><p>\u00a0\u200b(iii) the training and guidance of law officers<\/p><p>(iv) spearheading reforms in the Attorney General&#8217;s Office<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-484be78 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" :<\/p>\n<p>(i) drafting and supervising of primary and subsidiary legislation and other legal documents<\/p>\n<p>(ii) conducting civil litigation cases in which the Government is a party and ensure follow-up action<\/p>\n<p>(iii) performing the functions of &#8220;Ministere Public&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>(iv) promoting good industrial relations and staff welfare.<\/p>\n<p>The post was first filled in 2009.\u200b Miss N.Ramsoondar joined the AGO as Assistant Solicitor General on 10 August 2020\u00a0and was appointed as Acting Deputy Solicitor General on 01 October
